4-24-12 TWO THIRD PLACE FINISHES FOR EDWARDS AT NORCAL FOCUS MIDGET OPENER

Atlanta, GA- 18 year-old Tyler Edwards made his debut in the USAC NorCal Focus Midgets with Ron Sutton’s Winner’s circle contesting a 2012 championship. Edwards opened his 2012 season this past weekend at Stockton 99 Speedway with a consistent run collecting two third place finishes.

This is Edwards first season in the Ron Sutton’s Winner’s Circle program, which develops drivers for a career in motorsports after an extensive application and tryout process.  Edwards brought on multiple asphalt oval experience to the racing program for 2012.

Last Saturday night was the postponed Season opener for the 2012 USAC NorCal Focus Midget Series at Stockton 99 Speedway. After a long rainy month of March the series went into a halt for the season opener at Madera Speedway.
